Ordering Your Oars

When you place an order with Concept2 you have the chance to tell us your preferences. Each pair of sculls or set of sweeps is built according to your choice of blade, shaft, oar length and grip. We’ll probably never have the variety offered by our friends in the running shoe business, but we believe you should have options that suit your level of experience and your performance goals.

Blade choice will be your most important decision, since this is the part of the oar that has the greatest impact on boat speed.  For an explanation of the theory behind our blade designs and advice about which blade would be best for you or your crew, we encourage you to visit Oar Theory.
